Description
This terminal is designed for use with strip conductors (30x…) and grounding rods with a maximum diameter of 19 mm. Made of brass, this terminal measures 40x40x15 mm and weighs 0.116 kg. It complies with UL SPEC 467 and IEC 62305 (and by extension NF C 17:102:2011), ensuring its reliability in lightning protection systems.
The use of a brass lug in lightning protection systems and grounding installations:
– High Conductivity: Brass is an excellent conductor of electricity, which is essential for efficient and rapid transfer of electrical charges to earth in the event of a lightning strike.
– Corrosion Resistance: Brass is highly resistant to corrosion, an important property for materials used outdoors and exposed to varying weather conditions.
– Durability: The brass lugs are robust and durable, thus ensuring a long service life, even in harsh environmental conditions.
– Reliability in Connections: They ensure a reliable and secure connection between the flat conductors (strips) and the grounding rods, which is vital to maintaining the integrity of the grounding system.
– Compliance with Standards: As these lugs meet international standards, their use ensures that the lightning protection installation complies with safety and efficiency requirements.
