This terminal is intended for use with cables of max. 70mm². Made of copper-brass alloy, it weighs 0.046 kg.
The terminal for rod connection with diameter 5/8″ or 16 mm is mainly used in lightning protection systems. It is used to connect an electrical cable to an earthing rod, thus allowing electric discharges to be safely directed to the ground. This lug is therefore an essential component to ensure the efficiency and safety of earthing installations in structures such as buildings, antennas or other constructions likely to be affected by lightning.
