1-Multipurpose Use:
– First, we use the 8 mm solid round copper conductor in red copper as an overhead or buried lightning down conductor.
– It corrodes (“verdigris”) quite quickly and can cause greenish streaks on walls and roofs.
2-Fixation and support:
– The 8 mm solid round copper is simply fixed from the lightning rod with a lightning rod/conductor fitting.
– The conductor is attached to the masts and tubular structures, for example with hose clamps or strapping.
– We provide support on the roof with concrete blocks or with tile clips.
– Vertical fixing (example: walls, partitions) is achieved with cleats and plugs, clips, plastic staples or collars (depending on the support).

The electrical conductivity of this tinned copper conductor is excellent. However, it corrodes rapidly ("verdigris"), resulting in some greenish stains that are not always aesthetically pleasing.
