Flat stainless steel conductor 30×3.5mm
The 30×3.5 mm flat stainless steel conductor is an effective corrosion-resistant conductor. Indeed, this conductor is perfect for lightning protection systems subject to a very aggressive environment. However, the choice of fixings adapted to the supports is important (fixing possible by clips, plastic staples, collars, etc.).
This product is packaged in crowns of approximately 30 meters (weight: approximately 25 kgs) or 60 meters (weight: approximately 50 kgs).
The flat stainless steel conductor 30×3.5 mm is used as an overhead down conductor but also as a buried lightning rod earth conductor. Finally, this conductor is sometimes used when equipotentialing. It is the best conductor for lightning current in high corrosion environments.
This 30×3.5 mm stainless steel strip is suitable for making type A (A1 and A2) and type B grounding conductor earth connections.
It guarantees high safety and durability since it complies with EN 62561-2, NFC 17-102:2011 and IEC 62305 standards.
The electrical conductivity of this stainless steel conductor is sufficient. In addition, its very good resistance to corrosion is an important guarantee of durability. However, its weight and price are very high compared to tinned copper for example.
