An external lightning protection system using a lightning rod must be checked annually and after each lightning strike to ensure it is functioning correctly.
After an inspection, it is imperative to immediately correct all defects found in order to maintain optimal efficiency.

A verification of your IEPF must be carried out within the
The following cases:
- Initially, upon completion of the IEPF,
- Periodically (at least every 12 months),
- Each time the protected structure is modified or repaired,
- When the facility was struck by lightning.
Each periodic verification must be recorded with a detailed report stating all the results of the verification and the corrective actions to be taken.
