Galvanized steel flat conductor 30×3.5mm
We recommend using this flat galvanized steel conductor for temporary installations. It meets standards with its dimensions of 30 mm wide and 3.5 mm thick. However, this material corrodes quickly. Its price/performance ratio is only advantageous in the short term. Maintenance and replacements are more frequent. Choose fixings suitable for the supports stainless steel clips, plastic clips, staples and lead plugs… This grounding conductor is offered in coils of approximately 30 meters (weight: approximately 25 kgs) or 60 meters (weight: approximately 50 kgs).
This 30×3.5 mm galvanized steel flat conductor complies with EN 62561-2, NFC 17-102:2011 and IEC 62305 standards.
The electrical conductivity of this galvanized steel lightning rod conductor is sufficient. However, avoid using it in most conventional and permanent lightning protection systems. This is because this conductor is susceptible to corrosion, causing its conductivity to degrade rapidly. Therefore, it is best suited for temporary lightning protection installations.
