Description
For use with 3/4-inch threaded earthing rods. This driving head is used in combination with coupling sleeves to facilitate earthing rod installation. It weighs 0.143 kg. Complies with Standards: UL SPEC 467, IEC 62305 and NF C 17-102:2011
Main functions:
– Protecting the earthing rods during installation: The driving head is placed on the threaded earthing rod to protect it from damage that can occur during driving into the ground. Without this protection, the rod could be deformed or damaged, compromising its effectiveness.
– Uniform Distribution of Striking Force: By striking the striking head rather than directly on the rod, the force is distributed evenly across the entire surface of the rod. This helps prevent deformation and ensures that the rod is driven straight and evenly into the ground.
– Facilitates Installation: It makes the installation of earthing rods simpler and more efficient, especially in hard or compacted soils where significant force is required to drive the rod in.
– Compatibility with Threaded Rods: The striking head is specifically designed to fit 3/4 inch threaded earthing rods, ensuring a perfect fit and efficient use.
– Increased Operator Safety: By using a striking head, the operator reduces the risk of injury caused by slippage or rebound of the hammer.
