The Contact@ir^® and Contact@ir^® MD transmitters are optional products that allow remote communication with your lightning protection system.

A Contact@ir^or Contact Contact@ir^MD transmitter can be connected to each product in the Paraton@ir^range , to each of our Compt@ir^lightning strike counters and to each unit of our Alert@ir^XTlightning alarm. These products are called " Contact@ir^Ready products " .

The Contact@ir^or Contact Contact@ir^MD transmitter then continuously communicates the operating status of the Contact@ir^Ready product as well as its communication reliability. Communication is ensured via radio link for the Contact@ir^transmitter and via the most accessible local mobile network for the Contact@ir^MD transmitter , without any physical connection.

When used with the Dongl@ir®^proximity receiver , the Contact@ir^transmitter  communicates identification and diagnostic information. The system allows verification of the integrity and status of the Contact@ir^Ready product .

When used with the Rout@ir^®, connected to the internet by the most suitable available means, identification, diagnostics and history can be performed from a web-connected device (computer, tablet, smartphone) without any travel required to the equipped site.

This system transmits a real-time alert when a lightning strike is detected by the  Contact@ir^Ready product. This alert also includes the power level of the lightning strike. A verification and maintenance intervention must be scheduled depending on the severity of the lightning strike.

With our system, you can remotely perform an initial diagnosis. This will optimize the visit of the maintenance service, avoid unnecessary costs, and ensure your lightning protection system remains in good working order.

Contact@ir^can  be installed on the Contact@ir^Ready product  during assembly or at any point during the installation's lifespan. If the  Contact@ir^transmitter   is defective, you do not need to replace the entire product and transmitter assembly, but only the transmitter itself.
